Tamiaya J. Mosesly is an Associate Attorney at the Williams Law Group who is dedicated to the practice of Family Law. Tamiaya is an attorney with 20 years of practice experience, over 10 of which have been committed to successfully handling divorce, custody, child support, parenting time, alimony, paternity, grandparent rights, domestic violence, mediation, and related family law matters. She is a compassionate, aggressive, and well-trained litigator and negotiator who has successfully tried and settled hundreds of cases.
Tamiaya obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Howard University, graduating with honors cum laude. Thereafter, she attended and graduated from Fordham University School of Law in New York City. During Law School, Tamiaya served as a staff editor on the Fordham International Law Journal, competed in the ABA Negotiation Competition, and completed extensive mediation and negotiation clinical and simulation training.
Tamiaya also interned for the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey with the Honorable Nicholas H. Politan. After Law School, Tamiaya attended the National Institute for Trial Advocacy’s Domestic Violence Intensive Trial Skills Training where she received intensive training on all aspects of Domestic Violence Family Law trial litigation and a completion certificate.
Tamiaya is admitted to the New Jersey, New York, and D.C. Bars. She has served on committees that successfully worked to revise and amend Family Law statutes. In a previous position as a Managing Attorney, she trained attorneys, paralegals, law clerks, and legal advocates in successful Family Law advocacy. Tamiaya has also consulted with Family Law practices, where her knowledge and skill in building successful Family Law programs, Family Law community outreach and education, Family Law program funding development, and Family Law litigation training skills were sought out and highly prized.
