Open Hearts / Full Bags Drive
We at Williams Law Group, LLC understand the importance of having a pocketbook filled with personal belongings. However, not every woman has the luxury to own a handbag filled with essentials. That is why we were proud to host our Open Hearts / Full Bags stuffed pocketbooks drive to donate to women in homeless shelters in our community and benefiting Family Promise! Family Promise is a national nonprofit organization committed to supporting low-income and homeless families to gain independence.
The purpose of this drive was to fill new or gently used pocketbooks with items you would generally find in a purse and donate these stuffed pocketbooks to women in homeless shelters. We are so thankful for the efforts by our Short Hills Community to help us see this through. Photographed below is Melissa Perales, Manager of Community Engagement for Family Promise of Essex County. To learn more about Family Promise’s mission, feel free to visit their website.
Facebook Live Series: Moving Families Forward

Opportunity to Grow Scholarship
We created the Opportunity to Grow Scholarship because we believe strongly in the benefits of higher education. Specifically, we view academics as a way to contribute positively to society. We also understand that college is less accessible to some due to financial restrictions. That is why we wanted to recognize a student who demonstrates a commitment to both their school and the larger community. To learn more, visit our page to apply.
