Renata F. Casella is the Partner leading the Trusts & Estates practice at Williams Law Group, LLC. She advises individuals, families, and business owners in New Jersey and New York on estate planning, gift and generation-skipping transfer strategies, trust design, probate and trust administration, and business succession strategies. Her estate planning work includes preparation of last will and testament, durable power of attorney, advanced health care directives, revocable trusts, spousal lifetime access trusts (SLATs), intentionally defective grantor trusts (IDGTs), dynasty trusts, decanting strategies, and fiduciary risk management. She collaborates with accountants, financial advisors, insurance professionals, and other attorneys to develop comprehensive, tax-efficient plans that promote estate and gift tax minimization, asset protection, and beneficiary security.

Renata counsels executors, administrators, and trustees through all phases of probate and trust administration, including asset marshaling, compliance with fiduciary duties, and state and federal tax reporting. She prepares and reviews estate and fiduciary income tax returns, advises on trust modifications and nonjudicial settlement agreements, and handles both contested and uncontested estate proceedings. Her clients appreciate her attention to detail, her ability to simplify complex issues, and her commitment to delivering practical, tailored solutions.

Renata earned her BA, cum laude, from New York University in 2005 and her JD from Pace University School of Law in 2008, where she competed in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Renata’s background in advanced legal research and advocacy informs the precision and depth she brings to each matter.
