A New Attorney Has Joined Our New Jersey Family Law Firm

New Jersey family law attorney Anooshay Asim has joined The Williams Law Group, LLC as an Associate Attorney. In this role, she will focus her practice primarily on Family Law. She represents clients across a broad range of family and related matters, including divorce, separation, custody, child support, parenting time, relocation, emergent applications, alimony, palimony, equitable distribution, prenuptial, postnuptial, and separation agreements, mediation, domestic violence matters, post-judgment issues, and partitions.

Anooshay approaches each case with a client-centered philosophy, recognizing that family law matters are both legally complex and deeply personal. She is committed to guiding clients through every stage of the legal process with compassion, while always working toward the most favorable outcome possible. By taking the time to understand each client’s unique circumstances, priorities, and long-term goals, Anooshay develops tailored legal strategies designed to protect her clients’ interests and provide clarity during difficult transitions.

After relocating to New Jersey, Anooshay practiced family law at a well-regarded South Jersey firm, where she represented more than 300 clients in all aspects of family law. Her experience includes litigating trials and plenary hearings from inception through resolution, collaborating with custody evaluators, mental health professionals, and real estate, retirement, and business valuation experts, and drafting complex legal pleadings and agreements. This background underscores her belief in the importance of strong trial advocacy and thorough preparation in achieving meaningful and lasting results for clients.

Anooshay earned her Juris Doctor from Tulane University School of Law, where she served as one of the first student attorneys in the Tulane First Amendment Clinic. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Anthropology from Wake Forest University. Following law school, she relocated to Texas, where she gained significant hands-on experience as a law clerk at a prominent family law firm.
